Basic environmental training
Environmental awareness is all in the mind, to use a popular expression. It’s stored in the knowledge and skills of the people working for an organisation and it is expressed by their behaviour.
To increase and maintain your staff’s knowledge, Search has developed a range of training courses in the field of safety, environment, quality care, and safety and health at work. The basic environmental training has been developed to provide your employees with all the knowledge compulsory for – among others – the ISO 14001 standard (environmental care in companies and organisations). Search provides the basic environmental training ‘in company’ , as a group training at our training centres or digitally, in the form of e-environment. This user-friendly digital training version has been developed especially for operators in all branches of industry, production companies, contracting, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and government agencies. Our experienced teachers and educationalists can incorporate company-specific subjects into the (digital or group-based) environmental training, to link it up completely with the environmental policy in your organisation.
As a recognised and fully certified training institute, Search incorporated an entry test into the digital environmental training course to determine the students’ starting level. This is to avoid that material already known will be brought up again when taking the course. That will save a lot of time and frustrations. Using e-environment’s digital testing system, students can keep track of their own progress.
Search’s environmental training course includes the subjects of air, water, soil, sound, waste, energy, dangerous substances and care for the environment in the form of separate modules. The modules are subdivided in an well-ordered way into subjects and themes. The modular arrangement allows us to offer made-to-measure solutions. Company-specific subjects can easily be added and non-relevant subjects can be left out.
