Refresher Training Company Emergency Worker
The Dutch law on safety and health at work (Arbo) is clear about the necessity to have enough emergency response persons present. Partly in view of their relatively great responsibility, it turns out that training these employees once is not enough. Their skills and knowledge must be ready to be applied at any moment. After all, in case of incidents there is no time to consult reference books. Immediate action is required. Another important argument for doing an annual refresher course is extra training on new developments and techniques. An annual course to brush up their training guarantees that your emergency response team will always have the right knowledge and skills to act effectively in case of emergency and to guarantee everybody’s safety.
During the refresher course all important aspects of in-company emergency response will come up again, to brush up the existing knowledge and skills. It’s often quite effective if a refresher course is combined with the compulsory evacuation exercise.
