Countercheck
It’s not easy to interpret a soil investigation report correctly. Hardly surprising – soil investigation is a specialist trade, requiring explanation by experienced consultants. What you need is a reliable partner who can explain the report and countercheck it. In particular when conflicting interests are at stake, a second opinion may provide the right solution.
A soil investigation remains valid for about three years. From that time on a new investigation has to show whether the soil quality has changed. Another possibility is that doubt has arisen about the reliability of past soil investigations; counterchecking by making a new, thorough inventory should provide the definite answer. Any number of situations may arise, in which a countercheck by a reliable, expert organisation is desirable.
